Egg incubator by Borotto is suitable for hatching eggs of hens, pheasants, guinea fowl, quail, partridges, ducks, geese, peacocks, pigeons and various exotic and predatory birds. The interior can incubate 16 chicken eggs or 64 quail eggs simultaneously. A thermostat based on a PID-type algorithm prevents temperature fluctuations and takes care of its constant level (+/- 1°C). Depending on the species, it is set in the range of 30-40°C. The parameter is visible on an easy-to-read LED display. Constructed of heat-resistant ABS polymer, perfectly insulating the interior of the hatcher. Thanks to the addition of BIOMASTER silver ions, the material reduces the growth of bacteria, which prevents possible infections of embryos. The patented SIRIO humidification system helps maintain the ideal humidity level. It ranges from 45-55% with water on one tray, 60-65% on two.

A sensor made in accordance with the Swiss Sensirion technology takes care of the appropriate level of humidification throughout the incubation cycle. If it drops, the microprocessor activates a feeder that delivers small drops to a special tray, where they are evaporated. With the help of a fan, the air remains in motion. The egg turning system uses a programmable microprocessor. The angle of tilt is changed regularly, constantly in a different way, just as it happens naturally in a bird's nest. The incubator is equipped with 12-volt power functions. In case of power outages, it can be connected to the car battery, for example.
