The welding jacket is designed to protect the upper body during welding. It protects against sparks, hot metal splatter and high temperatures. It is resistant to some of the mechanical hazards and provides moderate heat protection at the same time distinguished by its softness.

The sweatshirt is made of 1.4 mm thick cowhide split leather. It is characterized by durability, excellent abrasion resistance and heat resistance. Insulated and non-conductive snaps protect the welder from electric shock. The jacket has two practical interior pockets. The roll-up, snap-fastened collar can be folded up to cover the neck more thoroughly. It has an additional lining to stiffen and increase resistance to temperature changes. Fire-resistant, non-melting thread is used for sewing. The material begins to turn to ash only at a temperature of about 426°C (800°F), which is much higher than nylon or polyester. The product complies with EN ISO 11611:2015, with a protection class of 2 and A1 flame protection. It protects against splinters of molten metal, brief contact with the flame, heat radiation from the arc. It also minimizes the risk of electrocution from accidental contact up to about 100 volts DC under normal welding conditions.
